Biography

Vivian J. Valtore is an author of psychology and human behavior whose work examines the forces that shape how people think, adapt, relate to others, and understand themselves. Her writing spans psychology-informed nonfiction, guided personal-development workbooks, and psychologically driven fiction, allowing her to explore human behavior through both practical insight and narrative storytelling.

Her professional background includes leadership in education, service as a court-appointed child advocate, and work as a certified mediator, along with advanced training in psychology research methods, neuroplasticity, child psychology, digital well-being, therapeutic arts, meditation, life coaching, and instructional design. These experiences inform an evidence-conscious, nonclinical approach to writing that makes psychological ideas accessible without reducing complex human experiences to simple labels.

Valtore is especially interested in context: what people have experienced, what they have learned to expect, how environments and relationships influence behavior, how identity changes when circumstances change, and how repeated experiences can become patterns over time. Her work looks beyond the visible outcome to the beliefs, pressures, relationships, histories, and interpretations that often exist beneath it.

Across nonfiction, guided work, and fiction, Valtore examines the complexity behind human behavior—how experience, environment, relationships, perception, and personal history influence the ways people understand themselves and respond to the world around them.

Her guiding philosophy is:

“Exploring what shapes us, what drives us, and what we become.”
